Health, Safety and Fire Specialist: South Region
Location: Bristol / Reading / South of the M4
Remote with regional travel
Package: GBP 45,000 - GBP 55,000 DOE
GBP 6,000 car allowance or company car
Fuel card / mileage expenses

A leading UK property business with a large multi-site portfolio across commercial and mixed-use environments is continuing to invest in the growth of its internal Health, Safety and Fire function, building stronger in-house capability across the UK.
The Role
Reporting into the Group Head of Health and Safety, you will support a portfolio of sites across the South region, working closely with Facilities and Centre Management teams to provide practical Health, Safety and Fire guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Health and Safety and Fire Risk Assessments
- Review external assessments and provide recommendations
- Support site teams with day-to-day H and S and Fire guidance
- Deliver pragmatic and commercially focused solutions
- Support auditing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships across regional sites
About You
- Experience within Health and Safety and Fire Safety roles
- Comfortable managing a regional multi-site portfolio
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially aware, pragmatic and solutions focused
- Experience undertaking and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments and Health and Safety audits
- Strong working knowledge of UK Health and Safety and Fire Safety legislation
- Proven experience within FM, property or built environment environments
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence
Qualifications And Experience
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, with evidence of continued professional development (CPD)
- NEBOSH or NCRQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety desirable
- NEBOSH Fire Safety / Fire Risk Management or Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification desirable
- IOSH membership preferred (CertIOSH minimum or working towards CMIOSH)
