Early Years Specialist Local Primary Schools
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time, Flexible (Term Time Only)
Salary: GBP140 - GBP233 per day (Weekly Pay dependent on experience)

Responsibilities
- Versatile Placements: Experience the full EYFS spectrum, from supporting sensory play in Nursery to leading Phonics sessions in Reception.
- Child-Led Learning: Use your expertise to turn everyday moments into learning opportunities, following the Development Matters framework.
- Work-Life Balance: Leave work at the school gates. Enjoy the energy of the classroom with no take-home planning, staff meetings, or end-of-term assessments.
- Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates of GBP140 - GBP233, paid every Friday via Randstad.
Your Role as an EYFS Lead
As an EYFS Supply Teacher, you are the guardian of a child’s first educational experiences, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for exploration.
- Holistic Development: Support the three prime areas: Communication and Language, Physical Development, and PSED through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Early Literacy and Numeracy: Deliver high-energy Phonics and early maths sessions that build confidence and school readiness.
- Creative Environment Management: Adapt quickly to different indoor and outdoor learning spaces, ensuring all health and safety standards are met while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
- Collaborative Support: Work seamlessly with Nursery Nurses and Teaching Assistants to provide a consistent and caring routine for every child.
Essential Requirements
- Hold QTS: You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation or significant experience in EYFS/Early Years.
- Are an EYFS Expert: You have a deep understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and the Characteristics of Effective Learning.
- Are High-Energy and Patient: You can lead a dough disco, settle a restless group during storytime, and manage personal care needs with a positive attitude.
- Are Committed: You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding.
