Here at Stonewater, we have the perfect opportunity to join our specialist Damp and Mould team on an initial 6 month FTC.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve cases of damp, mould and disrepair, including carrying out inspections (virtually and in person) to diagnose the cause, ordering works, tracking cases to completion and working with colleagues across Homes and our Partnering Contractors for specialist input.
- Track HHSRS actions to ensure our homes are safe.
Qualifications:
- Be educated to minimum HNC level or equivalent professional experience/qualification in construction, housing, management or property.
- Knowledge and experience in building pathology and the ability to diagnose the cause of damp and mould.
- Proven experience of delivering a maintenance service.
- Good understanding of Decent Homes requirements.
- Good written/verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of building components, diagnosis of building defects, building/contract law, building regulations, housing law.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of the importance of recording all relevant information.
The role will be home based but there will be an expectation to travel to locations and attend national meetings as required. While we are not fixed with location, candidates located in Bristol / Gloucester are highly desirable.
Appointment to this role will be subject to satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
