The Role
Are you an electrically-driven engineer who thrives on variety? We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be the go-to person for ensuring our facility stays at peak performance, tackling everything from complex PLC faults to routine mechanical wear and tear. This isn't just a fix it when it breaks role. You will play a key part in our Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategy and drive continuous improvement projects across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Mastery: Fault finding, repair, and installation of electrical systems, including motors, inverters, and control panels.
- Mechanical Support: Handling bearings, chains, pneumatics, and hydraulics when the job requires it.
- PPM and Reactive: Executing scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and responding rapidly to emergency breakdowns.
- Compliance: Ensuring all work meets 18th Edition (or latest) standards and strict Health and Safety protocols.
What You’ll Bring
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ or City and Guilds in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Certification: 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
- Mindset: A logical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
