About The Opportunity

PPM Recruitment is partnering with a well-established civil engineering contractor to appoint a Commercial Assistant to support its expanding commercial department. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to further their career within the infrastructure and construction sector. Working alongside experienced commercial professionals, you will assist with financial administration, subcontractor management, invoicing, and commercial reporting, while gaining hands-on experience with contracts and active civil engineering projects. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and commercial support to the wider project team.
  • Assist with invoicing, billing procedures, and financial record management.
  • Prepare and collate information for valuations, applications, and cost reporting.
  • Maintain subcontractor records, documentation, and compliance information.
  • Review invoices and financial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and finance teams.
  • Identify and report any commercial issues, discrepancies, or queries.
  • Support the preparation of contractual and commercial documentation.
