Night shift

An exciting opportunity has become available for experienced Quality Inspectors to join a specialist coatings and manufacturing environment in Oldbury. The Quality Inspector will focus on achieving right first-time quality through accurate inspection, strong technical understanding, and adherence to routed timeframes. You will inspect, rework, and manage incoming and in-build components, ensuring every part meets exacting standards.

Working Hours: Night Shift (39.5 hours per week) Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm - 12:00am

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Carry out inspections on incoming goods and in-build parts to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify defects, quality concerns, and non-conformances, escalating where required.
  • Accurately complete all inspection and job-related documentation using internal systems.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure clear, effective communication and strong collaboration.
  • Ensure all parts are compliant and meet final sign-off criteria.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and safe condition.

The Ideal Quality Inspector:

  • Proven Experience: Background in parts inspection, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Technical Know-How: Solid understanding of inspection and rework processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to deliver a high-quality finish.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and complete detailed documentation accurately.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
