Linsco is delighted to be working alongside our client, a well-established regional main contractor with over 30 years experience delivering projects across the building, civil engineering and structural steel sectors. Operating across Yorkshire, Midlands and the North East, they have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across construction and regional infrastructure projects.
With strong annual turnover, a growing order book and several long-term local authority and infrastructure framework agreements in place, they are now looking to appoint a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their Civils and Build division. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their QS career to join a supportive and growing commercial team where you will receive hands-on experience, mentorship and genuine long-term progression.
The Role
Working closely with the Managing QS and wider commercial team, you will assist in the commercial management of projects ranging from GBP1m to GBP15m.
Duties Will Include
- Assisting with the assessment and procurement of subcontract packages
- Completion and review of Bills of Quantities (BoQs)
- Assisting with drafting subcontract agreements
- Updating procurement schedules and tracking package progress
- Supporting the preparation of client applications
