Are you a Controls Design Engineer looking to join a growing and innovative engineering business? Youll play a key role in delivering control system designs from concept through to commissioning, working with the latest automation technologies and collaborating closely with project, software, and manufacturing teams. The Role
- Design electrical control systems for automated machinery.
- Create electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar.
- Select PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, sensors, and safety equipment.
- Develop PLC and HMI software for machine control.
- Ensure compliance with CE/UKCA and relevant industry standards.
- Support build, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Test, fault:find, and troubleshoot control systems.
What We Are Looking For
- 3 years experience min as controls design engineer
- Softwares : open but they use solidworks and will train on this.
- Experienced creating wiring diagrams and schematics.
- HNC in electrical engineering or similar.
