Your responsibilities as site-based Electrical Engineer:

  • Carry out service, repair and maintenance on large 5-axis machine tools
  • Diagnose and correct electrical and CNC control faults efficiently
  • Interrogate Siemens S7 PLC programs to identify system issues
  • Support machine performance across high-precision manufacturing environments
  • Maintain Siemens 840D control systems and associated software
  • Deliver planned and reactive engineering support on site

What we're looking for in a site-based Electrical Engineer:

  • Previous experience fault finding on 5-axis CNC milling machinery
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens 840D CNC control systems
  • Ability to interrogate Siemens S7 PLC programs
  • Previous service or maintenance engineering background
  • Exposure to machine tool manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments
