The Role
- You will work with a diverse and high-profile client base, including central government departments, local authorities, education and health institutions, police authorities, charities, and major suppliers operating in the public sector.
- You will advise public sector clients on public law and commercial matters.
- Provide clear, technically accurate, and commercially focused advice with exceptional client service.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to support client development and business growth.
Skills Required
- Applications are sought from Public Procurement and Contracts Solicitors with a minimum of 4 Years PQE.
- Strong experience advising central, devolved, regional, or local government bodies.
- Expertise in public law and commercial issues.
- A solid understanding of how public sector organisations operate, including the interplay of politics, policy, and delivery.
- Commercial awareness with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach to working with clients and colleagues.
