An exciting new job opportunity for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Stourbridge, Dudley area. This care home offers temporary accommodation for respite and rehabilitation, providing the highest possible standards of care and support to older people with dementia. Our philosophy is to see beyond the illness, recognising the wider needs of the individual.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment.
- Lead the nursing teams to provide high quality, person-centred care and support that promotes dignity, privacy, safety and independence, and which promotes equality and diversity for everyone living and working in the Service.
- Support the Service Manager to manage the effective use of resources, including those which impact on the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy.
- Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
- Ensure the smooth and effective running of the transitional unit within the home and liaise with external health professionals.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision within the Service.
- Have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughout the service.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
