About the Role
You’ll be responsible for crafting high‑quality, tailored bids and written proposals that showcase company capabilities to potential clients. You'll collaborate with internal teams, attend planning meetings, and ensure all submissions meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and submit high‑quality, customised bids on time
- Attend bid planning and kick‑off meetings with relevant research prepared
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather data and input
- Tailor written responses to align with client needs and win themes
- Maintain and improve the company's bid content library
- Support the development of presentation material and occasional marketing content
- Assist in post‑bid reviews to continuously improve future submissions
The Ideal Candidate
- Educated to degree level or with 2+ years in bid writing, copywriting or sales support
- Strong command of written English with the ability to write persuasively and clearly
- Experience producing structured, strategy‑driven content
- Confident using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly organised, resilient and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- A strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
