A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join its growing sustainability team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of UK-based projects, including residential, mixed-use, commercial, education, and healthcare developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sustainability assessments and advisory services across multiple project types
- Undertake BREEAM assessments, including evidence reviews and site inspections
- Prepare sustainability statements and reports to support planning applications
- Provide advice on net zero carbon strategies and wider sustainability objectives
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams
Essential Criteria
- Degree: qualified in sustainability, environmental science, building services, or a related discipline
- Experience working in a sustainability or built environment consultancy role
- Strong understanding of sustainable building design principles
- Excellent written, verbal, and organisational skills
Desirable Criteria
- Licensed BREEAM Assessor
- Experience with life cycle assessment (LCA) or carbon reporting
- Knowledge of UK sustainability standards and legislation
- Membership of a relevant professional body
