Job Summary
Primary SEN Teaching Assistant 1:1 Developmental Support. Position: Full-time, long-term (term time only). Salary: £88.92–£100 per day, paid weekly. Start date: Immediate / next term. We specialise in neurodiversity and child development. The role supports children with SEND in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 settings, focusing on autism, speech and language delays and global developmental delay.

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 support using personalised learning journeys, sensory breaks and Now and Next boards to keep children regulated and engaged.
- Facilitate social interaction and communication skills during play‑based activities and phonics sessions.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, class teachers and external therapists to track milestones and adjust support strategies.
- Provide a safe, dignified environment, assisting with personal care or mobility needs where required (training provided).
Qualifications
- Patience and emotional intelligence; patient with progress measured in small milestones.
- Person‑first approach, looking past diagnosis to see potential.
- Relevant experience in nursery, healthcare setting or personal lived experience with SEND.
- Must hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one) and demonstrate commitment to safeguarding.
