English Specialist Teacher Role
In this role, you will work with students across secondary education, delivering engaging English lessons that promote progress and achievement. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the curriculum, supporting students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Progress Monitoring: Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support attainment and development.
- Engagement and Motivation: Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation, confidence, and a love for English.
- Communication: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure consistent and effective learning support for all students.

Requirements
- Relevant experience as an English Teacher or Specialist Teacher is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and/or Literature.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs is advantageous.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness through Reeson Education.
