Salary: A GBP 28,000 per annum, increasing to A GBP 31,600 per annum after a successful probationary period

Hours: Monday to Friday: no weekends

The Automotive Assembler will be responsible for the assembly and sub-assembly of bespoke vehicle interiors, ensuring all components are fitted to a high standard. Working across multiple build stages, the Automotive Assembler will focus on precision assembly, quality finishes, and supporting the overall build process. The Assembly Operative will play a key role in delivering high-quality vehicles by ensuring all assemblies meet specifications and are completed efficiently. This position requires strong attention to detail, hands-on skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Role and Responsibilities of the Automotive Assembler

  • Assemble and install interior units, fixtures, and fittings to specification
  • Carry out sub-assembly of components before final vehicle installation
  • Work from the build instructions and technical drawings to complete assemblies accurately
  • Inspect assembled components and interiors to ensure quality and fitment standards
  • Carry out adjustments, refinements, and finishing tasks as required
  • Support the build process across multiple stages of vehicle production
  • Conduct detailed checks of completed assemblies before final installation
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment and ensure tools are kept in good condition
