Job Type: Full-time, fixed term contract 12 months, 30 hrs per week
Employer: Farmer Copleys, an award-winning Farm Shop, Café and Restaurant based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. The farm produces own lamb and beef and grows pumpkins, strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, raspberries, blackberries, liquorice. Eggs are supplied from our hens and ingredients are available in the farm shop for the Moo Café.
We have a skilled and talented team of butchers, bakers, and chefs to make and prepare our range of products and menus available in the café and restaurant, with services during the day and for private functions.
The Role / Candidate Requirements
We are looking for an experienced BAKER to join our small crew. A baker with a real passion for traditional bakery products and pride in their craft. This is a fast-paced environment, and it can be busy when events are on, but we have a great team and good fun.
Ideally, someone with experience in a commercial or retail bakery environment and with savoury pastry expertise.
A passion for baking is a must. We also value a positive attitude, strong work ethic, motivation, and willingness to learn our tried and tested recipes and potentially create new ones.
We offer a great opportunity to work in and contribute to an independent and unique business. The environment is fast-paced, so only those who enjoy being busy and who are serious about a long-term future should apply.
This full-time role over five days a week requires early starts. Weekends off are on a rotational basis, and we also offer generous team benefits.
