Role: This is a workshop-based role within a clean, efficient environment for a professional who takes pride in high-standard machinery preparation. Focus on installation, calibration, and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of high-end lifting equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and Calibration: Fitting advanced safety systems and calibrating crane specifications.
- Testing and Inspection: Conducting thorough PDIs on incoming and outgoing machinery.
- Maintenance and Repair: Fault finding, diagnosing defects, and refurbishing older units.
- Technical Support: Providing remote diagnostic support to field engineers and assisting the R&D department.
- Training Support: Assisting the training team in delivering technical instruction to customers and dealers.
Who We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude. We are specifically looking for:
- Technical Background: Level 2 or 3 Engineering qualification.
- Electrical Expertise: Experience with 12/24v DC automotive or plant-type systems. Knowledge of CAN bus systems is a distinct advantage.
