Role Overview

The Role: As Assistant SENCO, you will work with the Strategic Leadership Team to raise achievement for pupils facing significant barriers to education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and model best practices for staff working with complex SEMH needs.
  • Analyse data to set challenging, achievable individual targets.
  • Work with parents, carers, and multi-agency partners to ensure holistic support.
  • Assist in whole‑school self‑review and development planning.

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS teaching qualification.
  • UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle as travel between 5 sites expected.
  • Proven track record with SEMH and SEN pupils.
  • Excellent communicator able to engage hard‑to‑reach students.
