Area Sales Engineer
Industry: Industrial Electrical Control and Automation

Responsibilities
- Sell Industrial Automation products such as PLC, Control Gear, Switchgear and Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI and Process Instrumentation to OEM, End User, System Integrator and Panel Builder markets across South Yorkshire and parts of Derbyshire including Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley, Chesterfield and Worksop.
- Develop a personal plan to achieve defined sales targets.
- Maintain and expand an existing portfolio of accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
- Act as an effective team player while enjoying a level of autonomy.
Qualifications
- Experience in the Industrial Automation industry.
- Record of sales success and achievement.
- Formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline (ONC/HND or above) desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Capability with Microsoft packages.
- Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and sales proficiency.
