About the Role
Are you a domestic appliance white goods engineer looking to step away from domestic and join a company working on commercial equipment? Due to continued sales growth, a Commercial Appliance Service Engineer is required to join the team of a market leading manufacturer and service provider of commercial industrial laundry equipment. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company who truly values and celebrates their team whilst offering job security. This role would suit candidates with experience working on white goods equipment or similar backgrounds. Ideally, you will be gas qualified; however, the company can provide training for this.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on a full range of laundry equipment
- Work in a 1:1.5 hours radius from your home, averaging 3 to 4 jobs per day
- Work with 3 phase electrics
- Work on commercial laundry equipment in care homes, hotels, charities, gyms etc.
Candidate Requirements
- An electromechanical background
- An ability to work efficiently to rectify breakdowns and to work accurately to PPM schedules
- An electrical competence including the ability to dead test and carry out safe isolation
