Our client is a precision engineering specialist that manufactures custom products to the energy, defence and aerospace industry sectors. They are currently seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join their team. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be manufacturing and finishing custom sheet metal products to tight tolerances.
Sheet Metal Worker Responsibilities
- : Work to technical drawings and to tight tolerances
- : Use measuring equipment to inspect and verify components against engineering drawings and specifications.
- : Polish metal components to the required surface finish.
- : Dress and blend welds to customer and engineering specifications.
- : Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support a culture of quality and operational excellence.
Sheet Metal Worker Requirements
- : Previous experience in sheet metal finishing, fettling, deburring, polishing or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
- : Previous experience working to tight tolerances.
- : Experienced in using precision measurement tools.
- : A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- : Commitment to delivering right:first:time quality and minimising waste.
This Sheet Metal Worker position is based in Alcester and is commutable from Pershore, Evesham, Studley, Redditch, Worcester, Stratford:upon:Avon and Droitwich.
