Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong manufacturing engineering background? We are looking for a technically minded professional to lead complex engineering-to-manufacture projects across the Aerospace, Defence and Power Generation sectors. Working closely with engineering, production, suppliers and customers, you will manage projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring quality, cost and schedule objectives are achieved while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple engineering and manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Quality and Supply Chain.
  • Drive process improvement, operational excellence and equipment upgrade projects.
  • Identify and manage project risks, timelines, milestones and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Experience Required

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience of manufacturing environments and processes such as:

  • Metal forming, hydraulic and mechanical pressings
  • Cylinder rolling
  • TIG, resistance and micro spot welding
  • Laser cutting and EDM
  • Finishing processes including blasting, polishing and deburring
  • Testing and inspection including NDT (FPI), Airflow and CMM inspection
  • Engineering software including SolidWorks and SolidCAM

About You

  • Proven Project Management experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Experience supporting projects within Aerospace, Defence, Power Generation or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of fabrication, welding, forming and inspection processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualified (preferred).
