Exciting opportunity due to expansion:
- Reports to: Tip Top Day Nursery Bilston Manager- Charliey, and Owners Lisa and Kate.
- Length of probation period: Nine months
- Location: Tip Top Day Nursery, Bilston.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating a calm, safe and stimulating environment where children feel secure, happy and curious.
- Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that support early development and individual needs.
- Fulfilling key person responsibilities and ensuring strong attachments for every child.
- Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
- Using Famly to complete observations, assessments and learning journeys to a high standard.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with parents and carers.
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies are followed at all times.

We expect all staff that we recruit to be professional at all times, caring, highly motivated and enthusiastic about their role when working in partnership alongside our team and with the children and families that we provide childcare for.
You’ll be someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or above) recognised in the UK.
- Has experience working in a nursery, and holds a full and relevant Early Years Qualification.
- Has a sound understanding of the EYFS, Safeguarding and Ofsted expectations.
- Can balance professionalism with playfulness (yes, singing nursery rhymes is encouraged!).
- Communicates clearly with colleagues and parents.
Requirements:
- The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, 2 satisfactory references and a valid Early Years qualification.
