ROAST is a multi-award-winning independent performance media agency, founded in 2015. We proudly work with brands like Rightmove, Experian, and LEON, with one clear goal: to deliver better return on advertising spend (ROAS) than anyone else. How do we do it? By combining both media intelligence and data science, along with constant experimentation, we create solutions that will drive the biggest impact. But none of this works without exceptional people – which is why we put talent first, always. Training, progression, and opportunities to learn are baked into how we work. We want our people to feel happy, supported, and inspired. Exceptional company culture isn’t an add-on at ROAST – it’s the engine. It powers everything: creativity, collaboration, retention, results. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built, because it’s authentic and intentional. Rooted in shared values, not just surface perks.

The role

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive, and personable PA / Receptionist to take ownership of our front‑of‑house and ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff, clients, and visitors — setting the tone for a welcoming and professional workplace. Alongside this, you’ll provide extensive confidential PA support to the CEO on private and business matters, and step in wherever else needed to keep things running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role, enjoys taking initiative, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in every aspect of office life in a fast‑paced agency.

Responsibilities

  • PA support to the CEO — managing diaries, bookings, travel, meetings, and general administration of both personal and business matters
  • Office management — overseeing meeting rooms, supplies, organisation and maintenance
  • Act as the main point of contact for office operations and supplier relationships
  • Keep office, reception, meeting rooms and breakout areas immaculate and well‑organised
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety, fire regulations, PAT testing, etc
  • Coordinate internal IT and office equipment
  • Lead or support staff socials, charity events, and sustainability / CSR initiatives
  • Provide ad‑hoc support to the Marketing, HR, and Finance teams as needed
  • Handle any additional tasks that contribute to a positive and efficient office environment

The candidate

  • Proven PA experience, ideally supporting senior leadership
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills — able to juggle priorities calmly and efficiently
  • A confident but friendly communicator who can liaise professionally at all levels, with high levels of confidentiality
  • Hands‑on and proactive — you spot what needs doing and just get it done
  • Friendly, approachable, and positive with a can‑do attitude
  • Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a well‑run, welcoming workspace
  • Enjoys being at the heart of a team and contributing to a great office culture

Working at ROAST

  • Location: Soho, W1. This role is based onsite full time.
  • Holidays: 25 days, increasing with length of service, plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off; optional company trips
  • Benefits
  • Additional 2 weeks ‘work from anywhere in the world’
  • Discounted wellbeing classes / membership
  • Access to Aviva Digicare+, providing healthchecks, Digital GP, MH consultations and more
  • Active company social life organised by a staff committee
  • Lots of opportunity for involvement in CSR, sustainability and charity initiatives
  • Cycle, electric car and tech purchase savings
  • Training, including supplier sessions (e.g. Google), industry bodies (e.g. IAB), external trainers
  • Opportunities to learn about other digital marketing disciplines
