ROAST is a multi-award-winning independent performance media agency, founded in ****. We proudly work with brands like Rightmove, Experian, and LEON, with one clear goal: to deliver better return on advertising spend (ROAS) than anyone else. How do we do it? By combining both media intelligence and data science, along with constant experimentation, we create solutions that will drive the biggest impact. But none of this works without exceptional people – which is why we put talent first, always. Training, progression, and opportunities to learn are baked into how we work. We want our people to feel happy, supported, and inspired. Exceptional company culture isn’t an add-on at ROAST – it’s the engine. It powers everything: creativity, collaboration, retention, and results. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built, because it’s authentic and intentional. Rooted in shared values, not just surface perks. ROAST has created a place where people belong, grow, and do their best work – together.

The Paid Social Director is an established and proven expert in all social media channels, and ideally has general knowledge across at least one other field (Shopping, Search etc). This role requires the ability to plan, execute and report across all aspects of the marketing funnel and social platforms, as well as integrate into omni-channel media planning. The Paid Social Director is expected to be able to confidently develop testing and measurement frameworks to report from awareness through to conversion, proving incrementality and especially performance uplifts as a result of upper funnel marketing campaigns. You’ll act as a channel lead, shaping strategies, guiding a high-performing team, and partnering with clients to deliver measurable business outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Performance Media within the department, this role is both strategic and hands-on — you’ll be guiding accounts teams, advising clients, driving performance, and shaping the future of ROAST’s Paid Social offering.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking the lead on the strategic direction of ROAST’s Paid Social offering while overseeing and executing deliverables of key client accounts.
  • Working closely with clients to ensure a full understanding of their business, digital needs and priorities.
  • Working closely across key accounts and new business opportunities, to translate business objectives into impactful platform strategies with measurable outcomes.
  • Driving innovation and identifying new opportunities to improve performance and efficiency, including testing.
