What You’ll Be Doing
- Raise and process purchase orders, challenge vendor costs, identify recharges, code correctly, reconcile stock and process TIP Tankers rebills with order numbers.
- Ensure tanker compliance (PG9 avoidance), process service sheets, upload to ALS/Matrix, and maintain accurate service schedules.
- Deliver high service levels, handle enquiries professionally, create estimates for rechargeable work, and liaise across branches/departments to resolve queries.
- Manage bookings/workflow, update workboards, validate/liquidate technician hours, and align daily priorities with the Branch Operations Manager.
- Conduct yard checks and inventories, complete chemical audits (MSDS), produce reports/stats, and carry out general office/admin duties.
What You’ll Bring
- Confident raising, coding and reconciling purchase orders, spotting cost discrepancies and recharges.
- Understanding of parts, servicing workflows, or fleet operations (trailers/tankers ideal).
- Able to manage multiple workstreams (POs, bookings, compliance, stock) without errors.
- Professional phone manner with the confidence to deal with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
