We’re TIP Group – a proud Great Place to Work® – and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Regional Fleet Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a skilled and proactive Regional Fleet Engineer to support the performance, safety and compliance of our workshop network and Mobile Service Units. This role plays a key part in maintaining high engineering standards through audits, technical guidance and collaboration with operational and commercial teams. The position offers a regional remit with a company car, giving you the autonomy to support multiple sites while ensuring maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with company policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting detailed workshop and vendor audits to ensure engineering, safety and compliance standards are consistently met
  • Driving utilisation and productivity of Mobile Service Units through weekly monitoring and MSU performance tracking
  • Ensuring all road-going units and MSUs remain fully compliant (MOT, Tachograph, Tax, servicing and legal requirements)
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support to Regional Operations Managers and Workshop Service Managers
  • Carrying out quality re-inspections and technical assessments at customer sites where required
  • Supporting the development and implementation of maintenance policies, engineering standards and best practice across the region
  • Monitoring tooling registers, calibration schedules and load testing to ensure workshop equipment compliance
  • Delivering EHS training and ensuring technicians remain compliant with health, safety and operational standards
  • Managing vendor relationships, including performance monitoring, labour rate negotiation and SLA compliance
  • Working closely with a supportive, hands-on team that values your input
