Tiny House Delivery Driver & Transport Operator

Location: Cuffley, Hertfordshire. This full‑time on‑site position offers great opportunities for career growth with the UK’s leading tiny house company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Tiny Houses safely throughout the UK
  • Tow Tiny Houses using company vehicles or hired vehicles
  • Operate trailers and low‑loader trailers when required
  • Drive 7.5‑tonne vehicles and transport equipment between sites
  • Transport building materials, machinery and supplies
  • Carry out vehicle, trailer and equipment safety checks
  • Assist with positioning Tiny Houses on customer sites
  • Liaise professionally with customers during deliveries
  • Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle inspection reports
  • Assist with exhibition set‑up and breakdown across the UK
  • Support the operations team with yard duties when required
  • Maintain vehicles, trailers and equipment to a high standard
  • Ensure all loads are secured safely and transported in accordance with regulations
Essential Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence – Category C1 (7.5‑tonne licence)
  • HGV Category C or CE licence
  • Category BE entitlement for trailer towing
  • Good driving record
  • Professional and reliable approach to work
  • Good communication and customer‑service skills
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to travel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake occasional overnight stays when required
Preferred Experience
  • Experience towing trailers, low‑loader trailers, caravans, horseboxes, plant trailers, lodges or Tiny Houses
  • Construction, groundwork or site experience
  • Forklift licence
  • HIAB experience
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
  • HGV Category C or CE licence is highly desirable and may enable future career progression
