Job Description
Visa Government Solutions (VGS) is responsible for taking all Visa solutions (Consumer, Commercial Money Movement Solutions (CMS) and Value Add Solutions (VAS)) to the public sector vertical. This is a strategic global business for Visa, established relatively recently, with a support team based in London and dedicated sales teams based in all five Visa global regions. This role will focus solely on supporting global growth for Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) within the London-based Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Visa Government Solutions. This will include solutions for travel and entertainment (T&E), procurement, employee benefits, fleet, fuel & mobility, expense, compliance and audit tools, government-backed SMB loans or export agency schemes, with governments, humanitarian aid organisations and higher education as key global clients.
Day To Day Responsibilities For This Role Include
- Go deep into learning about Visa Product & Solutions that underline the VGS Solutions strategy to determine how they work and help to bring to life the support these platforms and solutions can provide to the end client.
- Support our team in preparing for client workshops & work collaboratively on client journey and customer experience solutions development.
- Coordinate with the sales enablement team in building out detailed client case studies with our global government clients & financial issuers.
- Support the team in our new working model with the global VGS go-to-market & commercialisation leads, providing help on gathering market insights & developing Visa product mapping for our commercial payments (G2B) workstreams.
- Utilising Visa data tools like GABI, Visa Issuer Optimiser Tool & associated ChatGPT prompts to extract data to support performance modelling, business case inputs and growth measurement and reporting.
- Support the team on how commercial models are presented to the solutions team, thus helping us with go to market models across our entire Visa product set.
- Undertake desktop research to identify supporting evidence from published articles for inclusion into strategy development, including the synthesis of information into well-presented slideware.
- Act as support for our cross functional working groups that will be delivering on major growth initiatives including working with the Solutions regional Pre-Sales team on project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships as required across other functions and stakeholders within the Visa Government Solutions Function and the wider Visa organisation.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level OR have equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in either the Public Sector or Financial Services.
- Energy, commitment, enthusiasm, can do attitude, flexibility, customer focus, problem solving and willingness to work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent communication skills both written and presentation development.
- A keenness towards developing your commercial acumen.
- An awareness of Visa or the Payments Ecosystem.
- Experience in working cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Passion for Payments and some experience with public sector entities is a plus.
