Essential Functions
Reporting to the VP of corporate and people functions, with a matrixed relationship to the People Business Partners for the client groups, the incumbent will play a key role in elevating the people leader experience. Accountable for areas which include but are not limited to coaching and guiding people leaders on individual talent development, annual compensation review, performance management, employee engagement, annual talent management review, bi-annual promotion cycle, conflict resolution, and other policy interpretation and consultation.
Contribute to the People organisation & client groups by developing and executing best practices promoting employee engagement and enabling a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company's strategic growth. Act as a primary contact for leaders (including SVP level) and leadership teams, fostering strong relationships. Provide strategic advice, enhance collaboration, and ensure alignment with organisational goals. Act as a coach and mentor to other PA and PS team members.
Experienced in managing all People aspects of organisational design projects, including understanding SPOC and SPAN optimisations. Capable of developing org design strategies and effectively analysing organisational dynamics through comprehensive metrics. Demonstrates confidence and fosters a culture of coaching and feedback throughout the business and People Team. Effectively articulates the importance and rationale for increasing both activities. Members of the People Team actively seek this individual for guidance and constructive feedback.
Deliver comprehensive analytics and insightful data interpretation to support informed business decision-making in accountability, while upholding operational excellence in reporting and data management. Partner with COEs, driving relationships and designing and delivering best-in-class People initiatives. Provide support for regulatory/legislative reporting and processes required in the HR domain for the respective market supported, where applicable. As part of the People Advisory, Europe Leadership Team, support the culture of the team and role model the Visa Leadership Behaviors. Liaise with stakeholders at various levels of the business. Note that client groups associated with this role are periodically reviewed and may change.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Experience in a related field, particularly as an HR generalist managing medium to complex people-related challenges within a global, multinational, matrixed company context. Juggle priorities and have an eye for detail to ensure delivery is always on time and accurately delivering objectives. Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong analytical and consulting skills with the emotional intelligence to value all perspectives and make informed decisions. Strong interpersonal skills, team player, true collaborator, and ability to solve problems quickly and competently. Strong ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Flexible and creative thinker. Proven ability to drive continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and promote a professional organisation.
