Visa’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking an accomplished executive recruitment specialist to contribute to organizational growth through the acquisition of high-caliber leadership talent. Serving as a member of the Global Executive Talent Acquisition team, the Senior Consultant will be responsible for recruiting Vice President (VP) and Senior Vice President (SVP) candidates in alignment with company strategy. This position will primarily focus on the European market but will also support searches in other regions depending on business needs, overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle and delivering strategic guidance to both business and corporate stakeholders across the enterprise.
Essential Functions
- Acts as a senior consultant, providing strategic guidance to hiring teams regarding executive-level talent requirements, industry leadership trends, and executive market intelligence forecasts.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in executive recruitment, offering deep insights into the senior leadership landscape and supporting hiring managers in defining and achieving executive search objectives.
- Oversees and implements best-in-class executive recruitment processes to attract and hire key executives for Visa, ensuring alignment with all hiring metrics.
- Engages in executive search-related special projects, including data analysis, succession planning, and talent intelligence initiatives.
- Delivers mentorship and SME-level support to recruiting colleagues and people team members, with a focus on executive search best practices.
- Is recognised as an executive search SME, consistently sharing expertise and strategies that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of executive hiring efforts.
- Develops and executes proactive Talent Acquisition strategies tailored for executive placements and recommends operational enhancements to Global Executive Talent Acquisition Leadership.
- Partners with cross-functional TA teams—such as Executive Sourcing/Research, Coordination, Onboarding, Mobility, and Compensation—on targeted initiatives aimed at attracting top-tier leadership talent.
- Maintains comprehensive awareness of emerging business strategies and senior leadership skill gaps to proactively identify and engage potential executive candidates for future organisational needs.
This is a hybrid position working from our London office.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading executive search and recruitment, applying TA best practices, building stakeholder trust, and meeting hiring targets.
- Advanced skills with recruitment technologies, including ATS (Workday preferred), CRM, and assessment tools to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Proficient in using AI sourcing and engagement tools such as LinkedIn.
- Demonstrates a strong results orientation, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines while consistently upholding professionalism in high-pressure environments.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, experienced collaborating globally in matrixed environments.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office and AI solutions.
