Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and implement engaging activities tailored to each child's needs to encourage development towards key milestones.
  • Observe, track, and reflect on children's learning progress.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers.
  • Ensure child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding policies are always followed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, safe, and happy environment daily.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • 1-2 years' experience as a nursery nurse or room leader
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
