Tinies Edinburgh and Glasgow is an SQA approved training centre, offering high-quality training programmes in Social Services (Children and Young People). We are recruiting now for a qualified Childcare Assessor to work across Scotland\’s central belt.

You will inspire learners to realise their full potential as you support, advise and guide them through their training and assessment of SVQs in Social Services (Children and Young People).

Other responsibilities will include:
*Ensuring quality standards are met in accordance with awarding/funding body requirements.
*Contributing to the continuous development of our training programme.
*Attending regular standardisation meetings.
*Communicating effectively and appropriately with colleagues, candidates and employers.

Requirements:
*The successful candidate MUST have completed the Assessor Award and hold a Level 3 Qualification in Child Care/Early Years (minimum).
*Experience in conducting assessments and evaluations
*Knowledge of the Social Services (Children and Young People) sector
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral)
*Ability to work independently and remotely
*Excellent organizational and time management skills and be able to manage your workload effectively
*Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

You will also have a full clean driving licence and have access to a car.
