Tinies are recruiting for Qualified Primary School Teachers for Supply Bookings

We are seeking Primary Supply Teachers with availability for bookings in Primary Schools in the Darlington area. As a Primary Supply, you have the flexibility to choose the days that fit your availability, whether full time or part time, please let us know on your application the availability you have. We invite applications from both qualified and newly qualified teachers (ECT).

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you should have good experience working with children in Early Years/Reception, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. Please let us know in your application which age groups you prefer to work with. You will need to have the ability to join classes and deliver the lessons planned by the existing class teacher, or on occasion may need to deliver your own lessons for unforeseen absence. Duties will include:
• Managing behaviour in the classroom.
• Adjusting teaching methods to suit the school and pupil\’s requirements.
• Assessing all the work at the end of each lesson.
• Providing a handover for the class teacher.

Applicants must have:
Proof of their QTS and PGCE qualification
Experience working within a primary classroom
Contactable references from previous roles
Good behaviour management and organisational skills.
Flexibility and willing to travel as required in the area
A DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new DBS with Tinies
