We are currently on the lookout for some passionate and dedicated experienced nursery assistants to join this OFSTED rated Outstanding Pre-School in SG18. They pride themselves on encouraging exploration, investigation, and adventure for the children and are passionate about the children's welfare, wellbeing and development. This role is Monday - Friday, 42 weeks per year (39 weeks of term time, plus 3 weeks of school holiday activities) 7:15am - 4:30pm.

What we need from you:

  • You do not need to have a childcare qualification for this role, but you must have at least 1 year's experience working within early years childcare

Your duties will include:

  • Taking charge of a key group of children
  • Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
  • Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning
  • Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
  • Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
  • Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children
