Location: Checkendon, North of Berkshire
Start date: Ideally end of September
Children: 2 children, 1 and 3 years old
Hours / Schedule: 7am–7pm 2 days a week, ideally Wednesday and Thursdays but room for flexibility
Main responsibilities:
- Get both children ready for the day in the morning
- Morning drop off and collection from nursery which is a short drive (family car available for use)
- During the free time throughout the day, responsibilities include preparing nutritious child friendly food for dinner, tidying the house, preparing activities for when they return from nursery
- Full care of both children at points over the day so must have confidence caring for young children
- General childcare and keeping the children engaged and entertained
- Helping maintain the children’s routines
- There is a large garden which can be used to entertain the children
Requirements:
- Previous experience with young children
- Must be comfortable with young children, empathetic, well mannered and patient
- Must have a driving licence, the family have a car available for use
- Comfortable driving the children when required
- Available to start end of September
- Must have 12 hours paediatric first aid and DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain them)
Travel: Drop off and pick up from nursery
Pay: Salary range between £20,000 and £25,000 gross per annum, dependant on experience
Other: No specific medical, allergy or additional care requirements for children. No family pets.
