A nursery in Slough is looking for a Nursery Team Leader to join their team!

Hours & Days: 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis for 37.5 hours per week.

Salary: £26,405 - £28,976 per annum (Incl. HCAS)

Main duties of the job:

  • Maintain the standards of care and learning opportunities for the children supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Assist the Manager/Deputy Manager with the development and administration of the nursery, accepting responsibility in the absence of managers.
  • Ensure the highest Health and Safety standards, OFSTED regulations, and organisational policies are maintained.
  • Take responsibility for the efficient running of a specific room, meeting children's needs and communicating concerns promptly.
  • Supervise Nursery Nurses, Nursery Assistants, apprentices, and students in your room.
  • Maintain accurate development records on children and report to the Nursery Manager.
  • Lead good practice regarding special needs and inclusion, working with the nursery and area INCO.
  • Open and close the nursery.
  • Ensure care and education standards meet OFSTED requirements and EYFS guidelines.
  • Build relationships with a small group of children and their families as a key carer.
