A lovely family-run day nursery and preschool in BR6 are looking to add a passionate and friendly nursery assistant to their team!

Candidate Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant, or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Ability to communicate clearly and successfully with children and adults using a variety of techniques
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
  • Be a team player supporting the Room Leader to provide a safe learning environment for children
