Job description

We are a passionate hard working team, looking for an enthusiastic and experienced pre-school key worker, who loves working with children and holds a NVQ3 or a NVQ2 in childcare to join our friendly, motivated preschool.

We are a term time only, pack away pre school based in Abbots Langley.

The hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.15am – 3.15pm with 30mins lunch break

As you will be a key worker, you will be required to observe your children, create next steps and complete the planning, whilst being able to have fun!

Important requirements:
A sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
An excellent command of written/spoken English
A love of working with young children and the desire to support children to achieve their full potential
Enthusiasm
NVQ level 2 or NVQ level 3 in childcare
Experience in working within a childcare setting. Day nursery experience is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.50 gross per hour

The setting are also looking for a room leader for their pre school room

Salary £10.50 to £12.50 gross per hour

Important requirements:
At least 2 years\’ experience working as a key worker
At least 1 year experience working as one of the following: Deputy Manager, Room Leader, Deputy Room Leader or Acting Room Leader
A sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
An excellent command of written/spoken English
A love of working with young children and the desire to support children to achieve their full potential
Enthusiasm
NVQ level 3
Experience in working within a childcare setting. Day nursery experience is preferred.
