Job description
A professional family based in Sunderland are seeking a Nanny to support their family on Mondays, Tuesday and Sundays.
The family have 3 young children aged 18m, 4y and 7y, and require an organised and flexible Nanny to help them manage both home and business. They also have a teenager who will be home at times, but does not require care. The Nanny will be an experienced childcarer with a good understanding of child development, and the ability to provide age and stage appropriate activities that follow the children\’s interests. They will be familiar with working alongside parents, and have the ability to adapt to the needs of the family. During week-days in school time, the Nanny will be caring for the 18m old whilst siblings are at school. In holidays the Nanny will care for the 3 younger children. The ideal Nanny will have SEN experience as part of the role will include one to one time on Sundays with their little boy age 7 who has some additional needs, so that Mum can make time with siblings and for any appointments.
The Nanny will ideally be able to offer at least16 hours per week, with the ability to offer additional hours to the family for evenings, events or appointments as agreed in advance . There is some flexibility on what these hours may look like, however as an example this could be:
Monday 10-5 (7hr)
Tuesday 12-5 (5hr)
Sunday 10-2 (4hr)
Pay is negotiable depending on the Nanny\’s previous experience.
