Nanny required for a professional family living in Hexham
The care will be of the couple\’s one year old daughter, 2 days a week. The ideal Nanny will have excellent experience caring for under threes. A kind, compassionate Nanny is required, someone who is full of patience and love, and is sensitive and empathetic to the needs of toddlers. The Nanny should be creative and full of ideas for fun and games, following the little girl\’s interests. Plenty of imaginative play, singing and music, reading and arts and sensory play. Both parents work from home, and this is the first time the family have employed a Nanny. They are looking for a competent person who is adaptable to providing care in harmony with parents, is empathetic of the little girl sometimes being shy and can support the family as they all transition into the new routine of having a Nanny, and understands the demands of parents who may be at home and needing to complete work as well as getting the most out of time with their only child.
The Nanny\’s duties will include:
•Full care of the little girl
•Prepare food – homemade nutritious meals.
•Planning fun games and activities that support the little girl with her developmental milestones and that are age appropriate
•Plan and attend local classes, play groups and play dates.
•Incorporate lots of outdoor play opportunities
•Keep the play areas tidy, normal nursery duties to include keeping the nursery clean and tidy and taking care of laundry.
Nanny with their own child considered.
Nanny will need to be willing to become Ofsted registered.
A driving licence and car would be useful, but is not essential, however you must be able to commute to Hexham easily.
Days: 2 days a week, 8 hours a day – flexible as to which 2 days (may consider 3)
Hours: Full days – flexible on start time between 8am to 10am
Salary: £13 – £15 per hour depending on experience
