Job description
We are looking for childcarers with good sole-charge experience to support a family in Bedale with ad-hoc childcare requirements on an ongoing basis for their two children.
Tinies supply nannies at short notice to families for daily or short term bookings. This role would suit someone looking to pick up flexible hours as and when it suits them. Hours could fall in day times, evenings or weekends and we are interested to hear from you for any of these periods. For those looking for more hours, once registered you are eligible to apply for other similar positions babysitting, temp nannying, working in our wedding and events team, or in early years supply; please state what you are ideally looking for in your application.
As a Nanny you will be responsible for the children, either whilst parents work at home or are not present at the property. It is therefor essential that you hold a good level of previous experience in a similar role. You should be organised, timely and reliable, with an outgoing personality to easily develop positive relationships with a new family. You should be able to prepare and cook meals, and be full of ideas to entertain and occupy children in different ages. Being a driver is a plus but not essential if you are able to and around Bedale. You should be flexible and sensitive to the needs of a family to easily work alongside parents in the home, follow family routines, and to occupy children so parents can work from home if this is part of the booking.
All Tinies Nannies will be required to have an interview to fully register on our books. You will need to send across your CV with all positions, including professional sole charge roles, with reference contacts. It is essential that you have a current Enhanced Childcare DBS (on the Government Update Service) and a relevant Paediatric First Aid certificate. If you need to renew either of these Tinies can support you to obtain this so please ask.
