Overview

Set in beautiful grounds, this nursery based in Tiptree is looking to hire a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to work in the 2-3 year old room due to growth. You will be joining a nursery with ambitious plans, where the staff team are stable, happy and enthusiastic about creating amazing experiences for the children within our care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner, who can work closely within a growing team. You should possess great communication skills and have a calm, approachable nature.

This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week with a shift pattern of 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.

Responsibilities

  • To assist room leader and other staff members in providing the highest standard of compliance, care and education for children, and effectively carry out daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.
  • To work closely with the Room Leader and other staff members in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine over lunch time.
  • supervising and ensuring children\’s safety during nap time.
  • Ensuring a smooth, hygienic routine over lunch time.
  • To contribute ideas to planning with stimulating activities, ensuring the children receive high quality of learning and development.
  • To liaise with nursery staff regarding children\’s specific needs and requirements.
  • To maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
  • To adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures
  • To always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification
  • Over 1 year\’s experience working in Early Years
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations
  • Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
