Owing to an increase in numbers, a friendly nursery in Bedford (MK41) is currently looking for Early Years Practitioners to join their expanding team. The hours for this Early Years Practitioner role are Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week on a shift basis between 8am - 6pm. Part-time hours or job share options can also be considered.

Candidates must have:

  • A full and relevant Level 2 / 3 or above qualification in Childcare / Early Years
  • A good knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards
  • Previous nursery and keyworker experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • The ability to work independently
  • Paediatric first aid certification (Tinies can assist)
  • A clean enhanced DBS

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and implementing a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities
  • General childcare duties
  • Implementing the EYFS framework and conducting observations
  • Supporting a key group of children
  • Collaborating with parents and colleagues
  • Attending team meetings and training sessions
  • Supporting each child's learning and development
  • Monitoring and recording children's progress and achievements

The salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
