We are looking for qualified staff (with a full and relevant level 2/level 3 childcare, Playwork with early years element, Childcare NVQ NNEB, EYP, EYE, EYPS, EYTS, or QTS, or working towards this) to join our busy supply team in the Bedale area and surrounding areas.
Usual shifts are weekdays 8am - 4pm or 8am - 6pm, however there may be flexibility for other hours such as lunch cover or 9am - 3pm shifts, with work available in term time and holidays on a short or long term basis - just let us know what you are looking for!
Flexible days to suit you, great rates of pay plus holiday pay, with the opportunity to join a benefits & discounts scheme available. 2-5 days of work available depending on your availability. Shifts are usually a full day of 8am to 6pm but we are interested to hear from you if you can work any of the following:
- 8am to 6pm
- 8am to 1pm
- 1pm to 6pm
- 9am to 4pm
- 9:30am to 2:30pm
Qualified Early Years: £13.50 per hour
Unqualified, with good childcare experience: £12.85 per hour
Paid travel time may also be available - driving not essential but you should be happy and able to commute in the local area.
DUTIES
Usual duties will include caring for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, supporting usual daily routines, working well as part of the team staff in the classroom and wider setting, providing activities to learn through play, and promoting the safety and wellbeing of the children and teams.
All applicants will require an Enhanced DBS for the childcare workforce, registered on the Government Update Service or will need to apply (we will support with). Paediatric First Aid is highly desirable but not essential.
