Early Years Practitioner SUNDERLAND
We\’re recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner to join our busy supply team, to support nursery children up to the age of 5 years.
Looking for a more flexible way to work in childcare? We are looking for passionate people like you to join our fantastic team in and across multiple locations in the Sunderland area for part or full days across the week, with opportunity in other local areas if desired.
Flexible hours to suit you, with great rates of pay. 1 to 5 days of work available depending on your availability during weekdays. Paid monthly. Shifts are usually a full day of 8am to 6pm, but we are interested to hear from you if you can work any of the following: * 8am to 6pm* 9:30am to 5:30pm * 8am to 3pm * 1pm to 6pm * 8:30am to 4pm * 8:30 to 3:00pm *
Rates of pay based on qualifications and experience:
Qualified: £13.50 per hour (see here for \’full and relevant\’ Early Years and Teaching qualifications: )
Unqualified, with good childcare experience: £12.85 per hour
We are looking for enthusiastic, capable childcarers to join our Tinies Temp Team. The ideal candidate will be qualified, holding an early years qualification deemed full and relevant as per government standards for the EYFS (see link above); however we would also like to hear from those with very good experience of working with children in another role (voluntary or paid for at least 1 year). You will require good experience with children and young people as a professional. We would love to hear more about your childcare experience and your relevant skills. You will join our fantastic team of teachers, nannies, nursery practitioners, experienced uni students, children\’s support workers, sports leaders, performing arts tutors, and early years professionals providing amazing care in nursery or creche settings with children predominately aged 0-5 years.
We have work available during weekdays, with various hours to suit you. Term time only work available.

Enhanced DBS for the Childcare Workforce & Safeguarding certificate essential, but Tinies can support you to obtain these or refresh your certificate if required. Help to access a Paediatric First Aid and further training available for CPD and signposting to childcare qualifications if interested in building your career.
