Deputy Manager – TN6 – 4 days per week – £25,900

This Ofsted rated \’Outstanding\’ setting is looking for an experienced and professional deputy manager to join their team.

At this welcoming nursery, they recognize that children develop quickly in the early years, and experiences between birth and age five significantly impact their future. They aim to provide a secure, safe, and happy environment, along with high-quality early learning to support children\’s development.

This role is 4 days per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, full days.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Experience in an Early Years leadership role
  • Confident decision maker with leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
  • Ability to build trust with colleagues and parents
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Contribute to staff development, training, coaching, and mentoring
  • Build partnerships with colleagues, parents, and professionals
  • Promote the nursery to support retention and occupancy growth
  • Manage expenditure and budget KPIs for the nursery\’s success
  • Engage with the Local Authority to support nursery practices
