Set in beautiful grounds, this nursery based in Tiptree is seeing a Room Leader to join their fantastic team to manage and run the Preschool room due to growth. You will be joining a nursery with ambitious plans, where the staff team are stable, happy and enthusiastic about creating amazing experiences for the children within our care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner, who can work closely within a growing team. You should possess great communication skills and have a calm, approachable nature. This position would suit an experienced person who has previously worked in a similar environment caring for children aged between 0 - 5 years and is looking for an exciting career opportunity. This is a full-time position with a working shift pattern of 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, 40 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are embedded, applied and adhered to by all
- Facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement any recommendations
- Embed effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff
- Ensure that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources which are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Promote a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery
- Participate in all activities related to nursery publications, advertising, public relations, the website, and other marketing activities designed to promote the nursery
- Promote positive relations with an approachable manner and time to listen to your team
- Develop a well-qualified and experienced team that meets and exceeds all relevant standards
Requirements:
- Level 3 Childcare qualification or higher
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating - desirable
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - essential
- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
