About the nursery: This nursery has many beautiful spaces for our children to explore, including a sensory room and a dedicated learning centre. The nursery also has a well-equipped outdoor area featuring play slopes, a playhouse, quiet retreat, under-cover area and musical space!
If you hold a full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification, and are an educator at heart, with a passion for teaching and developing little minds, our Room Leader opportunity would be perfect for you.

Salary: £26,752.96 - £34,877.02
Hours: Fulltime, Monday to Friday (40 Hours)
What you'll be doing:
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
- Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are always followed
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment on a day-to-day basis

What we're looking for:
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar)
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of techniques to communicate with both children and adults clearly and successfully
